We started our trip in Calgary and drove the Trans Canada Hwy 1 up to Banff. Continued to Lake Louise and visited the world famous Lake Morraine and Lake Louise. Then headed to Beaver on the way to Revelstoke. On the way to Clearwater we took a shortcut in Squilax and followed the bumpy, abandoned logging road into no man’s land… No reception on the mobile phone, nobody seen for hours… Just no flat tire…. At the end we did it 😉 Then we drove to Jasper and enjoyed the Jasper parc hotel with its nice lake. Then we had a last stop over in Lake Morraine to take some pictures of our beloved but shy pika – it is also known as the “whistling hare”.
